Glenda Williams Adams recently made a move to BankSouth Mortgage’s Retail division as VP, Senior Mortgage Banker. She has enjoyed over 30 years in the mortgage industry, both on the Retail side and the Wholesale side. In both spectrums her success in the industry has been unsurpassed. Her management skills coupled with her people skills allowed her to achieve extraordinarily high sales and sales management awards during her mortgage career.
Glenda Williams Adams joined our BankSouth team in September 2016. At that time, she relocated from Florida back to her hometown of Atlanta, GA as our SVP, Director of Wholesale Operations. Prior to Joining BankSouth in 2016, Glenda spent 7 ½ years in Florida working for Citizens First Bank where she was VP Mortgage Production Manager. In this role she led a staff of 15 Loan Officers, 6 Loan Production Assistants and 4 Quality Assurance Specialists.
Prior to being recruited by Citizens First Bank to relocate to Florida, Glenda was the Eastern Division Manager for National City Mortgage, a division of National City Bank. At National City Mortgage, she headed up the Eastern Division for National City Wholesale in Atlanta, GA for over 17 years. Her division at National City Mortgage (a division of National City Bank) consistently ranked as the top performing region in both volume and loan quality. Her staff in Atlanta for National City consisted of 186 people including Account Executives, Area Sales Managers, Secondary Marketing, Underwriting, Coordinating, Closing and Post Closing.
Glenda and her husband David reside in Canton, GA along with their two fur kids, Bandit and Bruiser.
